Day 1: From Fes to Merzouga Desert (Erg Chebbi Dunes) (463km / +9H)

The trip of the 4 Days tour from Fes to Marrakech departing early morning, from your hotel or Riad in Fes and driving toward Merzouga desert and Erg Chebbi Dunes. Pass by Ifran, famous as Moroccan Switzerland. Stop in Cedar forest in Azrou to see Barbarian apes in their natural habitat. Travelling through slopes of the Middle Atlas Mountains range. Stop in Midelt for lunch in a Moroccan local restaurant.

The journey continues to Erford known by fossils and date palm tree fruits through High Atlas Mountain. And Ziz Valley. heading to Merzouga, overnight in a hotel near the dunes.

Day 2: Explore Merzouga – Camel ride.

Today after breakfast, We will start desrt day trip in a 4×4 vehicle with A/C. first we will drive to Merzouga Lake ( if there is water to see births, it’s seasonal lake ). Then drive to Khamlia village known as black town. Most of inhabitant are black people originally slaves from Sudan. They still hold their old traditional music and culture. after a glass of mind tea and traditional Gnawa music in black town. We will continue driving on unpaved roads of Paris Dakar Till we will get to the black mountains where you will see the panoramic view of Erg Chebbi sand dunes from far away. and the border of Algeria.

After that we will head to the phosphate mines and an old isolated and ruined village built by the French army during the French occupation in Morocco. Our following destination will be the nomad families in the black desert living in Berber tents. the hospitality of a nomad family with mint tea. explore the life of nomad in the Desert then go back by different road enjoying driving on sand dunes.

In The afternoon, you will find your camels are waiting for you to join the camel trekking experience.

The camels take you to a Berber camp in the middle of Erg chebbi golden sand dunes. the south east of Morocco desert is large as 35 km long and 5 to 8 km wide it’s also reputed as the highest sand dunes in North Africa. It is a unique and diverse environment. You will be on the camel for 1h30min enjoying the landscape of Erg Chebbi golden huge sand dunes. This is your opportunity to feel like caravan traders or nomads transportation.

Before you reach the  Desert Camp you will make a stop to walk on sand and climb high dune to watch one the most wonderful sunset in the world. Then go down to the Desert camp and you will be welcomed by Moroccan mint tea. The tents are well equipped and we provide mattresses, blankets, and cushions. And any things else you will need for the night.

After a tasty Moroccan Tagine you will gather around a campfire and listen to traditional Berber music played by local Berber guides. you have a chance as well to participate. Then you will be free for a romantic walk one sand dunes under billion stars and shooting stars as well. then go to bed.

Day 3: From Merzouga Dunes to Dades Gorge (270km / 6,5H).

The desert journey starts before sunrise. We will wake up to watch magic sunrise. the dunes become orange with sunshine. Aftebreakfast you will ride your comes again or take car from the camp.

Leave Merzouga Desert heading to Dades through Berber town Tinghir is a charming city by Todra valley and palm tree grooves. we visit the famous Todra Gorge where the cliffs are as high as 300m and only 10 m apart. you have chance to hike in the beigest canyon in Morocco. Lunch in Todra valley in foothill of High Atlas Mountains. The trip continue to Dades valley and Gorge where you will spend night in comfortable hotel.

Day 4: From Dades To Marrakech (330km / +7.5H).
