10 Day Morocco Itinerary From Casablanca:

Day 1: From Casablanca airoprt to center or Rabat

The 10 Day Morocco Itinerary From Casablanca Departure depends on your flight arrival. If you arrive in the morning our guide will be waiting for you at the airport with your name in a sign. Then drive you to visit its famous Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco that allows non-Muslims to enter. And if time permits we can visit more interesting places like the Corniche and the pigeon square. Accommodation at the hotel in Rabat.

Day 2: From Casablanca or Rabat to Chefchaouen ( 6 Hours).

After breakfast we will leave to visit its main monuments in Rabat : Kasbah of the Udayas , it’s the ancient fortified town or medina in Rabat, UNESCO world heritage site . And visit Hassan II Tower . It is the minaret of an incomplete mosque. Also see Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Then drive to Chefchaouen, the blue pearl in north Morocco. Free afternoon to explore the beautiful town.

Day 3: From Chefchaouen To Fes (250km / 4.5H).

Today we will visit Chefchaouen ,Wazan and other Rif villages. In Volubilis we will discover the roman ruins and learn about the archeological site of Moroccan history ,after the visit of the ruins we will shift our way to Meknes city the 17 th century heritage where we will stop for lunch and hang around the historical huge walls of the medina , Bab El Mansour and enjoy a visit of Moulay ismail’s shrine . Then we will drive directly to Fes city where you will spend the night.

Day 4: Fes Medina sighseeing full day.

After breakfast , you will start visiting Fes with the local guide. Fes is a UNESCO world heritage site and is also considered one of the most spiritual and religious cities in Morocco. It has stood at the heart of Moroccan civilization for over five centuries and was a major cultural and intellectual center, competing with those of Europe.

Fes is also an ideal starting point for Fes to Marrakech Sahara desert tours. You will visit the following attractions : The royal palace gate. The Jewish quarter is also called Mellah. University of Karaouine founded in 859, considered the oldest continuously operating institution of higher learning in the world. The Tannery is the traditional place where they make handmade leather stuff. Pottery & Zellij Tile Cooperative where old techniques of how Zellij and pottery are made. Option to participate in making zellij tile or pottery making. Great for shopping for a purchase of fabulous pottery, Zellij tiled tables, Zellij fountains and more.

In the afternoon you will enjoy the panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes through a tower. Day trip in Fes in your Riad.

Day 5: From Fes to Merzouga Desert (Erg Chebbi Dunes) (463km / +9H)

Today we will satrt our dsert tour from Fes and driving toward Merzouga desert and Erg Chebbi Dunes. Pass by Ifran, famous as Moroccan Switzerland. Stop in Cedar forest in Azrou to see Barbarian apes in their natural habitat. Travelling through slopes of the Middle Atlas Mountains range. Stop in Midelt for lunch in a Moroccan local restaurant.

The journey continues to Erford known by fossils and date palm tree fruits through High Atlas Mountain. And Ziz Valley. heading to Merzouga Sahara to meet the camels are waiting for you to join the camel trekking experience.

The camels take you to a Berber camp in the middle of Erg chebbi golden sand dunes. the south east of Morocco desert is large as 35 km long and 5 to 8 km wide it’s also reputed as the highest sand dunes in North Africa. It is a unique and diverse environment. You will be on the camel for 1h30min enjoying the landscape of Erg Chebbi golden huge sand dunes. This is your opportunity to feel like caravan traders or nomads transportation.

Before you reach the  Desert Camp you will make a stop to walk on sand and climb high dune to watch one the most wonderful sunset in the world. Then go down to the Desert camp and you will be welcomed by Moroccan mint tea. The tents are well equipped and we provide mattresses, blankets, and cushions. And any things else you will need for the night.

After a tasty Moroccan Tagine you will gather around a campfire and listen to traditional Berber music played by local Berber guides. you have a chance as well to participate. Then you will be free for a romantic walk one sand dunes under billion stars and shooting stars as well. then go to bed.

Day 6: From Merzouga Dunes to Dades gorge (270km / 6,5H).

The desert journey starts before sunrise. We will wake up to watch the magic sunrise. The dunes are very orange with sunshine. Then Breakfast.

Leaving Merzouga Desert heading to Dades through Berber town, Tinghir is a charming city by Todra valley and palm tree grooves. We will visit the famous Todra Gorge where the cliffs are as high as 300m and only 10 m apart. you have a chance to hike in the biggest canyon in Morocco.

Lunch in Todra valley in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains. The trip continues to Dades valley and Gorge where you will spend the night in a comfortable hotel.

Day 7: From Dades To Marrakech (330km / +7.5H).

Today departure from Dades Gorge to Marrakech. Drive to Kalaat Mgouna – famous for pink roses and its annual festival during the roses harvest in May. Continue through the road of “the Thousand Kasbahs” , which offers many adorable photo opportunities of nature . You will make a stop in the oasis town at Skoura in the birds valley to see the standing 18th century Kasbah of Ameridhil .

Drive to Ouarzazate city famous for cinema and movies such as Game Of Thrones, Gladiator, Lawrence Of Arabia… Have a chance to visit Taourirt Kasbah and Cinema Atlas Studio .

Drive To Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah , the largest Kasbah in Morocco. Built by the last Berber chieftain El Glaoui Et-Hami in the late 13th century, it is now a UNESCO matrimonial historical site, which today still houses many Berberfamily members. you will have a guided visit in this fortified Berber village where you will feel like you are a movie star . Stop for lunch along the way via High Atlas Mountains .Drop you off in a Riad in Marrakech.

Day 8: Marrakech Medina sightseeing full day.

Today you will visit Marrakech with alocal guide. You will explore main attractions and monuments of the city including famous Jamma el Fna square , Kotubia mosque , souks, palaces,museums. You explore also new part of the city called Gueliz, gardens Menara and Majorelle. Night in a Riad.

Day 9: Free Day in Marrakech or Day trip around.

You will have free day to explore Marrakech by your own self, or if you prefer to go to a day trip to Essaouira beach to discover the beautiful coastline city in the Atlantic ocean 2 hours driving from Marrakech, or drive to Ouzoud waterfall, or to Imlil and valleys in the High Atlas Mountains .

Day 10: Airpot transfer.
